Hello! My name’s Andy Martin and I’ve been entertaining people for a few years with my music and prose! I’ve been a keen fan of music for as long as I can remember and like an eclectic mix of tunes. I play acoustic guitar and squeezebox with percussion accompaniment.
I like to encourage my audience to join in with my music, and feel this interaction is beneficial to Alzheimer and Dementia sufferers, allowing them to reminisce, play along, exercise, and generally enjoy themselves in an interaction they might not have access to in their daily course of life. I also entertain people with Learning Difficulties and Special Needs, visiting Learning Difficulties or Special Needs Residential Homes, in addition to Residential Homes for the Elderly or Nursing Homes. Sound and Movement Workshops and Multi themed Workshops can be arranged, including general musical entertainment for fetes, open days and special occasions.
